On top of the roof of the castle hub stage , (nearby where Pond begins the game) are several items- a tap , a cake , earth , an apple , and a hammer.

Collect the items in the following order-

H ammer
E arth
A pple
T ap

If you successfully collect the items in that order James is granted temporary invincibility and the ability to choose from any of the games levels.
