Although turrets are a limited hazard, you can't afford to ignore them. They fire directly in a particular direction, and you'll need to find a way to shield yourself or eliminate the threat. Armored guards can serve as a moving shield (if possible, trap them in a red hex so you can count on that protection). In other cases, you can hack turrets so that they take out your enemies rather than focusing on you.
