While playing story mode, pause the game. Hold [Block] and quickly enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Repeat the code to disable its effect.

Crash freezes anything touched	Hold [Block] and quickly press Down three times, Up.
Enemies leave behind Quad Damage	Hold [Block] and quickly press Up three times, Left.
Enemies leave behind Special Fruit	Hold [Block] and quickly press Up, Down two times, Up.
Enemies leave behind Super-Kick	Hold [Block] and quickly press Up, Right, Down, Left.
Enemies leave behind Wumpa Fruit	Hold [Block] and quickly press Right three times, Up.
Shadow Crash	Hold [Block] and quickly press Left, Right, Left, Right.
Stretched Crash	Hold [Block] and quickly press Left three times, Down.
