If you are stuck trying to get badges from challenge mode, you can earn them by following the guides.

| - Have all characters unlocked including alternate colors.

| - Collect every error item (Shell, Banana, Bob-Omb, Fireball, Mini Boo, POW Ball)

| - Complete every minigame in special difficulty and play one game in Toy Field.
|
| - Have all 9 stadiums unlocked.
|
| - Have all characters star players.
|
