The special events are extremely important in the game because they have amazing rewards. For example, at the moment of writing, there are several events available, one of them being created specifically for new players and rewarding them with top loot and goodies. So make sure to always look at the Events tab and do your best to get as far as possible there in order to take advantage of all the freebies offered.
