A megalodon was rumored to be hidden somewhere on the multiplayer map "Paracel Storm", but players were never able to find it. A easter egg was later added in the "Naval Strike" DLC, where players can summon a megalodon by gathering 10 players around a particular bouy on the "Nansha Strike" map.
