To bind a command to a specific key without having to open the console do the following. For example, to give yourself full health, all weapons and maximum ammo by only pressing [F4], edit the "doomconfig" file in the "\doom 3\base" folder with a text editor. Remove the file attributes on this folder first. At the end of the list, add the line: bind f4 give all. Then, save the file. When you play the game, press [F4] for full health, all weapons, and full ammunition without having to open the console first.
