Rocks can be used as throwing items to stun enemies. The first level is bountiful with rocks, so each time your start a new game, pick them up and hit enemies with them. Rocks can also be found scattered throughout the game, but they spawn often in the first area. There are also a few club-like weapons that stun enemies on criticals, which can be useful to achieve this.
