Go inside the boat and go up the ramp. Look to your right to see two barrels held up by a chain. Shoot the chain and the barrels will drop. Then, throw a stick of dynamite or a Molotov cocktail and the ship will catch on fire. This will stop the monsters from coming onto the shore.
