During the "Pioneer LDC - RTOS" screen (the one appearing immediately after the Playstation start-up logo), hold down Select button, then input Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Left, and let go of Select button. Then, at the game's main RTOS menu (the one with the V-Phone, Network and Config options), hold Select button and push Square button to enter the Debug Mode.
