Each mode in Attack Mode has a secret crown medal, which often requires double the score needed for a gold medal.

You'll need to collect stardust by playing through the game in either 1 player mode, story mode, and/or attack mode.

Unlockable	How to unlock
Bonus 1 Mode	Collect 100 points of Stardust.
Bonus 2 mode	Collect 2000 points of Stardust.
Select any character as default character for 1 player mode and attack mode	Collect 1000 points of Stardust.
Unlock the character B-1 for versus mode	Collect 200 points of Stardust.
Unlock the character Dr. J for verus mode	Collect 300 points of Stardust.

Once you earn 10000 stardust, all the stars on the title screen turn into star pigs.
