In the Final Fantasy VIII Remaster, there are several boosters you can activate in the vein of other Final Fantasy remasters. Press the buttons below to trigger them.

Battle Assist (maxed HP, always full ATB, can always use Limit Breaks)	Press in the right analog stick (R3)
No Encounters (doesn't work for forced encounters, e.g. bosses)	Press in the both analog sticks (L3+R3)
Speed Boost (game plays at triple speed)	Press in the left analog stick (L3)
