Battle Pokemon Ribbons
After your Battle Pokemon reach certain Skill Levels, Ribbons will appear on their pictures when you look at the Details in the Menu, your information in My Town, and on their icons in the Character Select Screen.

Bonus Code Unlocks
On the world map, press X to go to a pause menu. In that section, there'll be a bonus code option, which you can use to unlock new avatar items.
