In the map, Urchin Underpass, you can spot 8-bit mosaic art depicting both Bloopers from Mario and Octoroks from Zelda on opposite sides. Given the rivalry between squids and octopi in the Splatoon game, it's no surprise other creatures from Nintendo have taken sides as well.
