Depending on your character's class, you can drop to your knees or lay prone like common vermin by pushing the B button. This is useful for hiding in foxholes, taking cover behind objects, and for groveling at the feet of a superior officer. When you grow tired of skinning your knees and looking at your teammates' butts, press the B button again to stand proud and tall.
