Bonus shots...

Shoot fully charged shots for the bonus. Other shots in the later levels usually do little damage.

Repeat a level that you have failed until you get enough coins to upgrade your weapons to the point that it can be beaten.

Take advantage of power-ups such as the Land Mine and Golden Chicken. At times it may be more beneficial to hit the Golden Chicken as many times as possible. Remember the level where it chicken appeared and farm it for more money. Purchase the Commando Chick if you cannot complete a level. It will randomly shoot at monsters that are in range.

Aim for the monsters at the top. Usually aiming power shots at a 45 to 60 degrees angle should hit them.

Upgrade fruits whenever you get the chance. The more fruits are upgraded, the better the damage against monsters. Note: The banana is the best fruit.
