Army
Upgrade your troop and money storage whenever possible in order to keep your army strong. Making sure you have enough of each ensures you will have a successful army on your hands. Besides, you can't keep any money you earn but have no room for. Train as many troops as possible so they will always be prepared for battle. Include a variety of troops in your army. Have types that do will in melee as well as ranged attacks.
Defense
Purchase a Shield when you end your game session. They will last a few days to protect your base when you are not playing. Place traps all around your base to harm enemies that get too close. Surround your base with a wall, leaving only one opening for your troops to exit. Add troops to your defense bunker to have them automatically defend your island, even when you are not playing.
