The Boss Pit allows you to battle one Boss at a time. Each Boss has three stages, which get progressively more difficult. You can only play one stage per day. You can have five attempts in each stage. If you are unable to defeat the Boss in those attempts, the Boss will reset and you can choose a different or same Boss on the following next day. Each boss spawns enemies and "throws" them at you. Enemy you defeat will decrease the Boss' health. However, each enemy can only be damaged by a specific type of damage. Focus on using fighters that cause damage. You can also consider the Healer to keep your party healthy and or the Crimson Witch for her bonus and increase in attack speed. Bring your highest level heroes to a Boss battle, even if you do not have the optimal damage types. The Boss will be damaged after each enemy killed. You do not have to kill all of them in order to win. Start on the highest difficulty setting and gradually drop down until you can defeat a particular stage. Although rewards are better at the higher difficulties, getting some sort of prize is better than nothing.
Campaign/Expedition teams
For Expeditions, rotate your team based on the enemies that you face. For example, exchange Healer with Crimson Witch. Swap heroes to keep them alive and charged up. Consider using Dragon Lady, Hydra, Faith Healer, Magic Dragon, and Centaur or Bone Dragon.
Challenge teams
For Stone Forest, use heroes that are focused in magical damage such as Hydra, Dragon Lady, Dust Devil, the Purple Dragon. For Molten Scar, consider heroes that deal physical damage, such as Bone Dragon and Centaur. Consider keeping the Witch in your starting lineup to do more damage by hitting and attacking faster.
Evolution
Evolve your heroes as soon as they qualify. Evolved heroes will receive useful bonuses. Soulstones are required order to evolve heroes. They can be acquired by completing specific missions under the Elite difficulty or looted from Silver or Gold chests.
Fight Pit teams
Consider using Brozerker or Zombie, Hydra, Crimson Witch, Magic Dragon, and Centaur or Bone Dragon.
Heroes
Fight in the Pit to get various rewards, including gems that can be used to purchase Gold Chests for new heroes. Select weaker enemies that rank as high as possible and remain at the top long enough to win. Replay stages to collect Hero Stones. This will require some times, and will unlock heroes unlocked one by one. Start by tapping the hero you wish to unlock and view their information. You will be shown all methods to get their Hero Stones. Complete those stages until you get the desired Hero Stones. Watch the traders and complete their missions, as some heroes can only be obtained by doing so.
Leveling
Your heroes will gain experience after a stage. This can be increased by spending XP potions on them. Consider having several XP potions ready when you unlock new heroes to immediately level them.
Promotion
During battles you can acquire various pieces of equipment. Place them on your heroes or craft items that can be equipped. Promoted heroes will get an extra stat boost, which allows them to equip new items and in turn get promoted again. Promote your heroes one at a time, starting with your best ones. Extra equipment should be equipped to other heroes in order to leverage their boosts.
Soulmart
To buy items at the Soulmart, turn extra stones from heroes that are at least 5 stars into the special currency. For each stone transformed, you will receive 100 currency stones. This is a better value than 4,000 gold coins that would be obtained by selling the stones.
Special powers
Choose the correct moment to use your heroes' special powers. Normally this is in the last stage of a battle. Use any skills that you have completely powered-up in the beginning of a stage to their benefit and allow them to recharge in time for the final stage. However, do not save the healer's special healing skill and use it as soon as it is ready.
