Blocking new tiles
Occasionally an exclamation mark will appear indicated that a tile will be appearing soon. If nearby, you can move over and stop it from appearing. This is helpful if the incoming tile will not be that helpful.
Movement
When starting a level, move to the sides. Depending on the incoming tiles, use the entire level to select your next move based on the incoming tiles. Take as much time as required and move into open spaces to avoid getting trapped in a specific area. When out of matches, move horizontally, then one tile down and continue to the other end. By doing this you will increase that chances that your tiles will align and you will have enough matches or moves to complete the level.
