The Black Market features powerful items for sale. Purchasing all the items there is not required, as items can also be upgraded with crystals. It is cheaper to select an item that will be used for awhile and upgrade it regularly instead of purchasing entirely new items.

Various types of debris will appear. They cannot be destroyed and must be avoided. Asteroids appear from the top the screen. You will begin seeing mines in the second sector. They are stationary and easy to spot. They often are clustered in lines.

Reactors are one-time use special weapons. Only one reactor can be carried. If you pick up another one, it will replace your current reactor. When you see a new reactor available, use your current reactor to avoid wasting it, then collect the new one. The color of a reactor determines its function.

Blue: Shoot a lighting ball that bounces between multiple targets.
Green: Shoot multiple pairs of homing missiles.
Orange: Shoot out a group of orange discs in all directions.
Purple: Shoot a concentrated laser beam directly in front.

Lives normally are replenished over time. However, you can increase your lives instantly, up to a maximum of four, by advancing the time on your device. Afterwards, set the time back to its correct value.
