Always try to collect the floating star. Its tail will appear a few seconds before the rest of it. Each star gives you two more seconds in the mini-game, resulting in more gold. The glowing shooting power-up gives you a cannon briefly, which can be used to shoot down pillars, worms, and other dangers. Remember to shoot the source of fire and not the fire itself in order to destroy them.
