If you run out of fuel, wait to see if you'll pass any fuel cans along the way. Even if you're completely dry, there is a chance that you car will automatically roll down a hill towards a fuel can, so wait it out.

When upgrading your vehicle, try to upgrade all the stats equally. Speed isn't everything. You also need good stability, grip and even tilt.

If you can't get the best time on a level, just continue and come back later once you've upgraded your vehicle.

Consider doing a flip in mid air only if you're certain you'll have enough time to complete it and land on the wheels. If you land on the roof, you will explode.

There is no need to get all the coins on every level. You will get plenty of them just by progressing through the levels.
