Various Strategies
You do not have to fill the entire dotted line. Filling up to 80 percent of the dotted line is often enough to be considered complete. Many times you can do that with a shape that does not resemble what the finished product should look like.
Use the undo feature instead of restarting the entire shape. You can repeatedly undo until reaching the point where a mistake was made, then repeat that step until it is done correctly.

Look at the outline of the target shape and count the sides. If the number of sides matches the folds, it will be easier to determine how to fold the paper into the shape. Once you have planned the folding pattern, make sure your folds are accurate by keeping them on the dotted lines. Each accurate fold will bring you closer to earning a three-star rank.
As you progress, the fold patterns will become difficult to determine. Try to eliminate the largest amount of paper in each fold. This reduces the amount of paper that may be distracting you from learning to progress to the final shape.
