Coins
Each level features several coins to be collected. You must spend a coin to unlock each retrypoint. Try to collect all coins in each level and spend as few as possible on the retrypoints. If you collect a coin and then crash, the coin is lost. You must collect the coins and complete the level or land on a retrypoint for the coin(s) to be saved in your inventory.
Controls
Controlling the airplane is simple, but difficult to master. Tap in a rhythm to keep it flying in mostly a straight line. Hold and tap to help it gain altitude. However, if you hold too long your plane will start looping and usually crash. To regain forward momentum, fly up until your plane becomes upside-down and facing to left, then release and tap as soon as the plane is pointing to the right. This flip will result in an increase in your forward momentum.
Ice
Retry points in icy levels will cause a crash if you do not land on the very front edge of their landing strips. This requires a precisely timed descent. Although you will keep your coins and gears if you touch the landing strip, you can only unlock the retrypoint if you come to a safe stop.
