The staff obtained during the tutorial deals 6 or 7 damage during auto attacks. Your character will automatically attack enemies within range. You can move while you attack, allowing you to remain at a distance while taking out enemies.
Barrels
Barrels may been found in various levels. They will explode when hit, damaging any nearby enemies.
Elemental monsters
Some monsters will have an element associated with them. If you try to hit those types of monsters with a card that has the same element, the monster will take reduced damage. However, an exception are Arcane monsters. They can only be damaged with Arcane cards.
Gold
Complete a level and you will be awarded a percent bonus depending on your performance. To increase the bonus, complete the level quickly while taking little or no damage.
Raid mode
Complete a level for the first time under the hard difficulty to unlock Raid mode for the easy difficulty of that same level. Raid mode allows you get rewards from a level without actually having to play through the level. You can also choose to spend three times the amount of stamina to triple the amount of rewards.
Upgrades
Spend Parchments to create upgraded versions of spells. Do this frequently to make sure you are evenly matched with your enemies. The Enchantment station can be found next to the card station It allows you create enchanted equipment that usually has better stats.
