The important part of battle in Super Spell Heroes is the spells, of course, and how you cast them. When you're greeted with some coloured squares, you can start at a spell icon. Usually a shield for a defensive move, a cross for a healing move, and something a bit more destructive for an offensive move. Drag from the spell icon to any icons of the same colour, highlighting multiple. The more icons you use, the more powerful your spell will be. Simple at first, but hard to master.
