Bomb squares are larger squares that contain another dot inside. The inner dot will turn into a bomb that explodes after all the square-color dots are removed, eliminating any nearby dots. They are difficult to set up, and their explosions may ruin a pattern you had set up for a different area. They are most useful to collect extra dots when almost out of moves.
Power-ups
There are two general power-ups that can be used.
Bomb: Eliminates certain dots on a level.
Extra life: Self-explanatory.
Five moves: Gives an additional five moves to the current level.
Restarting levels
If a level layout looks particularly difficult, you may quit and restart the game before making your first move and it will not cost you a life. Note: This will not work if you have retried a level immediately after failing it. If you fail a level, exit back to the map, then select it again. If a level becomes too complicated after you have started working on it, consider using the "Reshuffle" option at the cost of a few moves.
Special dots
As the game progresses, new dots will begin appearing.
Fire dots
Removed by dropping non-fire dots on top of them. The fire spreads and consumes nearby dots if not extinguished.
Ice blocks
Broken once they have had a dot removed from them three times (including dots removed by squares without touching the ice block)
Unlimited lives
Lives will regenerate at a rate of one per twenty minutes, to a maximum number of five. Advance the time on your device the appropriate number of minutes to totally refill them, then set the time back to its true value.
Various strategies
Your primary objective is to connect dots with the same color as well as getting the highest possible score from completing the puzzle with a minimum number of moves. To remove all of one color, make a square with other dots inside this square. Those other dots will become bombs that can blow up the surrounding dots. To get a higher score, you must have at least five moves remaining. The remaining moves will turn various dots on the screen into bombs and create an explosion to blow up nearby dots. Any extra moves left over beyond the fifth move will simply earn extra points at the end of the level. Always consider creating squares to easily manage each puzzle. As you create a square, you will remove all the dots of the same color from the level, and this increases your chances of creating more squares. For a more advanced strategy, consider creating a large square with nine connections so you will have a special dot that can take away some extra dots. Start solving levels from the bottom to have more chances of creating new matches. More pieces will fall and the level will change its layout, giving you more chances to make combos. Anticipate where the dots will fall in order to create more patterns. Before making any actions, focus on what can be done in your next move to create a square.
