Various Gameplay Strategy
Tip 1: Hold the "S" button to charge your strike swing. Do not repeatedly tap it. Allow to charge briefly to do more damage. While charging a strike, you can adjust the direction that you will swing in by holding a direction. Do this if your opponent is blocking. For example, if they are blocking high, hold down to have the strike go low.
Tip 2: When your opponent is blocking too much, consider using grabs. Grabs will put your opponent in a hold. When you grab first you usually will get the advantage.
Tip 3: When you are the target of your opponent's grab, you can escape in two ways. The "G" button will not be a "Counter" button, while the "B" button will now be "Escape". Countering a grab will reverse the grab and put you in the better position. Escaping the grab will get you totally out of the grab. For either option to work, you must press the correct button at the precise moment. If your opponent trying a transitional move, you must tap "G". For move, you must tap "B". You can also simply tap "B" and "G" together while randomly tapping in all directions and hope to get lucky.
Tip 4: You can run to modify your strikes and grabs. Begin running by quickly double tapping in any direction. Running attacks will result in more damage, but making a mistake will leave you open to a counter attack.
Tip 5: Tapping "S" and any other button will have your character use a special attack. These attacks are similar to running attacks in terms of damage, but have a long prep time and leaves your character vulnerable to attacks at the end.
