There is a little trick you can use to stop your opponent from moving for a limited amount of time. If you and your opponent are in a power struggle for the puck, and you are hitting the fire button rapidly, sometimes you can halt your opponent and you will get control of the puck (Warning: Computer can and will use this as well). When you execute this strategy, the hockey player who was "Injured" will simply stand on the ice will one leg up.
