When your on a rail and a rail is close but not close enough to jump to. Jump off the rail and go into a Manual (to get a multiplier and little more points) balance to the rail and jump on it. This is great for massive combos.

NOTE: An easy way to keep out with your Manuals is to raise your Manual stats.
