When waiting for your fish to mature enough to sell, visit a friend to help clean their tank or adjust their volume for optimum play. This results in more Coins and experience points. If you have more friends, you can do this more often because you can only help each friend once per day.

You must be at the level to unlock sardines. Sardines only take three minutes to grow to junior and about ten minutes or more to become an adult. They require more in feeding but at least results in fast experience. When they reach adulthood, sell them. They give you 12 experience points but sell for 48 Coins.
