A-lot of Star points

First go to Twilite Trail and Battle a Crazee Dazee(I think thats what ther called)and if your lucky there will be a golden Dazee if you defeat the golden Dazee you will get a ton of Star Points.(I suggest using Super Nova with Mario and Bob-omb blast with Bobbery.)

Answers to the first quiz

#-Question-answer
1- What is hidden in this place-stone keys
2- How much do a mushroom and fire flower cost in petalberg-12 coins
3- What is the name ofthe mayor of petalberg-Kroop
4- Where is the crystal star located-hooktail castle
5- How can one get from petal plains to roughport-go through a pipe
6- Wich of the following creatures have hands-Koopa troopa
7- What number question is this-question seven

Atomic Boo and Lucky Start

In Creepy Steeple, after you've freed the Boos, stand still in the main room.Wait for some Boos to start sticking to you, the use your Super Hammer attack to shake them off. Do this twice, and the Boos will get mad and form the Atomic Boo. When beaten, he will drop the Lucky Start badge. This is needed if you want to fill up your Tattle Log and get all badges.

Audience Awakening

When the audience in battle are sleeping, you can wake them by using the "Quake Hammer" or Using Bobbery with his "Bob-ombast" move

Note: Quake Hammer Badge, or Bobbery, and two upgrades are required!

Choose Yoshi's color

To choose yoshi's color the REAL way, all you have to do is start the name of the game file with the beginning letter of a color.

Example: Greg-Yoshi's color is green.

It's that simple!

Defeating Gloomtail

You should have a Zap Zip Badge and at least 45 Health, 35 Flower Points, and about 30 Badge Power. You should only use Star Power for Sweat Treat. Use a strong party member and keep an even pace with your attacks. Additionally, Gloomtail, Hooktail's older brother, has 80 HP and 6 ATT power . Use Power Smash (equip many if you have more than one) and use Admiral Bobbery to bomb him . This should not take long. Note: If you have a Feeling Fine Badge, put it on to avoid Poison . After five to eight turns, Gloomtail will be defeated and you will get the Star Stone.

Defeating Hooktail

Before fighting Hooktail, get the Sound Changing Badge in the jail cell. The sound is a cricket noise, and is Hooktail's weakness.

Defeating Jabbies

Use the following trick if you have trouble defeating the Jabbies in Chapter 2. Use Flurrie as your partner. As soon as the Jabbies come for you, use Flurrie's ability and blow them into the wall. This will stun some of them (indicated by a star above them). The Punies should be able to defeat the Jabbies easily if this is done correctly.

Defeating the Shadow Queen

Make sure that you have 60 HP, 60 FP, and 30 BP. When you fight her just as Peach use Vivian as your partner. Then. use the spinning jump and Vivian's Shade Fist until the Shadow Queen turns into her other form. Then switch to Koops. Use his power shell to attack the hands and the body. Then, use the Power Smash badge. Also, when she adds 7 more to her next attack, use either Koops' Shell Shield or Vivians Veil. Make sure both Koops' and Vivian's level is at the highest. Repeat this and you should be able to win. Do not forget to heal and make sure you have a lot of Life Shrooms.

This Boss has a maximum HP of 150. In her first form, she has a max attack of 7 and defense of 0. Use HP and FP Plus Badges and Power and Defense Plus Badges to have a better chance. When she reaches 70 to 80 HP, she turns into her regular form. She is invincible for four turns, then recovers all health. Then, a very long intermission sequence will begin and she will be attackable. Use emergency Sweet Feasts and Supernovas. Her hands are a force to be reckoned with; try using Admiral Bobbery's Bob-ombast or Vivian's Fiery Jynx if either is leveled enough. It may require a few short turns to learn to dodge her attacks. After some steady battling, you will defeat her.

This trick requires some attacking items, some recovery items for backup, Badges of any kind (Close Call, Mega and Power Rushes, and any others that are powerful and that can make your opponents miss more recommended), and Vivian. At the beginning, use up your attacks because your power will recover. When the Shadow Queen changes into her true form, use anything except items. After the intermission sequence and Peach giving Mario her power, do the following. If the Shadow Queen has her big hands, when it is Mario's turn use Power Smash or Spring Jump (recommended) on the Shadow Queen, and not the Hands. When it is Vivian's turnm use Fiery Jynx and that will kill the Hands. When the Shadow Queen uses her Dead Hands, have Mario either use Fire Drive, an item that attacks all enemies, Earth Tremor, or Art Attack. When it is Vivian's turn, have her use Fiery Jynx. This will finish off the Dead Hands. When the Shadow Queen boosts her attack and defense by three, have Mario use Power Smash. When it is Vivian's turn, have her use Fiery Jynx unless there are no Hands of some kind, then use Shade Fist. When the Shadow Queen does a Super Charge, have Mario use Power Smash, Spring Jump, an attacking item, or an attacking Crystal Star Ability. When it is Vivian's turn, have her use Veil. If Mario has low HP, then use an item or Sweet Feast. If Vivian is low, give her a weaker item such as Super Shroom or give her Sweet Feast or Sweet Treat. When the Shadow Queen gets low HP, have Mario use attacking items. Vivian should either attack, or use an attacking item, unless the Shadow Queen does a Super Charge. If that happens, use Veil. After all that, use Supernova and do a good job of it. Have Vivian attack then finish her off.

Dried Shrooms

If you give a Dried Shroom to Zess T., it will make a Mistake. However, this is good because that is actually better than a Dried Shroom! A Dried Shroom replenishes 1 HP and a Mistake replenishes 1 HP and 1 FP.

Duplicate = Experience

Required:

- 1 Fire Drive Badge
- 4 or more Super Appeal Badges

If you have that, look for a Lava Bubble (a Red Flame), Ember (a Blue Flame), or Phantom Ember (a Green Flame), start a fight against them.

Use the Fire Drive Badge to heal and Duplicate them, and next defeat these guys, but let one allive! Repeat this trick to get major Star Points. And use the Sweet Treat or Sweet Feast to heal your HP but also FP to use Fire Drive.

Easy Champion in Glitz Pit

After you get the 6th Crystal star, you will be able to make a comeback in the Glitz Pit! However, Jolene accidently destroys your file so you have to start at rank 20 again! It's really quite easy to climb the ranks because you have all those powerful new moves! Anyway, when you get to Rank 1 and challenge Rawk Hawk for the championship, equip your 'Hammer Throw' badge. That way, when Rawk Hawk hangs from the ceiling and makes all the stuff fall down, you can use your Hammer Throw to kill him (If Hammer Throw is not equipped, you can't attack him.)

Easy Money

Once you've gotten to PetalBurg in the First Chapter you can use a trick to make easy money. First go to RougePort and buy as many sleepy sheep as you can carry, making sure to fill up your storage box aswell. When your pockets and storage box is full, head over to PetalBurg. Once at Petalburg, go into the Item Shop to sell your sleepy sheep for a 2 coin profit per sheep. Make sure you remember to withdraw and sell all the sleepy sheep you stored. To increase productivity, on the way back to rougueport, stock up on turtley leaves, again filling up the storage box, and sell them at the item shop where you picked up the sleepy sheep to gain 2 coins per leaf. After getting Taste T. you can cook the leaves into koopa tea for an extra 1 coin per leaf.

Easy Star points

When you get into the Glitz Pit, fight until you are near rank 7 or 8. You should now be fighting 'the fuzz'. Kill the black Fuzzie that has 3 HP then kill the Flower Fuzzy (pinky). Next, keep the green one near 1 HP remaining. He will split in two. Kill one of them (always leave one alive). It also helps when you have Koops out for a partner. Just leave Mario in front and Koops in back and use his Shell Shield (new attack when you upgrade him). Every time that it breaks, put a new one on. It helps to have some Happy Heart or Happy Flower badges equipped. Keep doing this and you can get 50 Star points in about five minutes.

Easy way 2 get Zess T.

Okay. First go toward the left. Then U "Accidentally" break Zess T.'s contact. go to the shop and order the contact lense. "U R gonna have to beat Chapter 1" After U beet it, go 2 the shop and they will have it. Give it 2 Zess T. BAM! She'll let U threw. P.S. if U dont youll have to do this later and take time to wait for the lense.

Free Spell

find a Save Block and Save.
next, Take the Warp Pipe on the east from the rogueport.
and go left where you reach a little town with a house,
near to a weird blue creature that holds a bag (Dazzle)
enter the house that stands left from Dazzle.
you wil find here the Fortune-Teller Merluvlee.
Tell her wat you want to let her divine.
after the spell, write down what she says by your adventure,
Shine Sprite, or Star Piece.
If you have it, turn your gamecube off and on.
now you will start by the place where you saved last.
so you can use her spell what you've write down, and you don't have to pay for the spell!!

Free Tattle

Go to Profesor Frankly's office and press the big green button (A) at his garbage and info about a random enemy and is transferred to your tattle log.

Get the up badge

Just in case you don't know what it is it is a badge that you don't put on. you have to go to hooktail's castle. when you walk in you just go straight into the next room. if not straight go into the room with spikes. after you get passed the spikes you need to get flurrie out. there is a spot in the wall where you need to blow. afteryou blow it you should find a up arrow badge. if you ask professer frankly he will tell you to ask someone to explain it to you. the person you should see is the guy right next door. the one with that weird ball. he will say that he has been looking for it. this badge does more upgrades.

Ghost's Curse

This really won't help you in your game, in fact, save before you do this, or you'll lose some game data. When you find the Ragged Diary in the Excess Train's Baggage Cart after meeting the ghost, read the diary and the ghost will appear out of nowhere really angry and curse Mario, transforming Mario into a dead spirit, earning you an instant game over.

Hidden Badge

After you get the Ultra Jump, go to the place where you travel to Fahr Outpost and go back outside. Fall off the platform, then do an Ultra Jump on the red X to grab the sewage pipe near the ceiling. Then, go through the large hole in the wall and you will be back in the Fahr Outpost pipe room. Let go of the pipe and you will land on a hidden platform near a treasure chest. The chest contains an FP plus P badge.

Hidden Bowser fight!

When you beat the showdow queen for the first time, then she will strike you with 4 bolts of lighting. Then Bowser will fall through the roof and land on her. Then you fight bowser(85hp) and his witch friend(50hp).

How to upgrade your partners

First you have to find some shine sprits(the look like suns in yellow boxes). After you get three of them go to the house next to the profesers and talk to merlin then you can upgrade one partner. You have to get the up arrow and give it him and then you can upgrade all your partners again.

Infinite Shop Points

First you will have to have given Zest T. her new contact lense. Then buy a lot of mushrooms at the shop in RoguePort for 5 coins each. Then cook them all into Shroom Frys at Zest T.'s. You can sell the Shroom Frys back for 5 coins, the same price you paid for the mushrooms. Using this you can gain free shop points. Note: This trick only works once you have Zest T.

Inn Money

Sleep 50 times in the inns, it doesn't matter if you went to different inns. After you sleep 50 times, a photographer will appear and congratulate you, and then he'll give you 200 coins.

Level up tips

As you level up I have some reasons why you should raise Bp(Badge points) and Fp(Flower points)more then Hit points becuase without Bp and Fp you will take longer to beat your enemys and you wont be able to use many moves that require Fp and in order to use the Fp you need bages. The thing is with Hp is that you will live longer but with take to much damge in one decent battle.

Luigi

Every time you complete a chapter in the game, Luigi will tell you a tale in his adventure to save Princess Eclair.

Luigi clothes

To get Luigi's clothes, go to where you get the sixth crystal star. From here, do a spring jump up to a pole on the left side. Do another spring jump to reach a ledge with the Luigi Emblem.

Missing Tattle Logs

Missed any Tattle Logs, particularly boss logs? They are not gone for good. Check Professor Frankly's yellow trash can. You will find Tattle Logs thrown away for bosses and other once-only enemies. The log will only appear in the trash once you've gone past the last possible point to Tattle that enemy.

Ms. Mowz

In story mode, you will get six characters (Goombella, Koops, Madame Flurrie, Yoshi, Vivian, and Admiral Bobbery). However after Chapter 4, go to the Trouble Center and take the chore of the mystery person. You will figure out that it is the mouse thief and when the mission is over you get the partner Ms. Mowz.

NES characters

When you go in the vent on the far right in the X-naut fortress on level one (I think) you will fall into one of the dressing stalls. When you come out of the stall you will be the classic 8-bit characters. (your partners are in 8-bit also but they are not in the 8-bit games.)

No Shadow Queen Max Health

When you are playing the Shadow Queen, at first do horrible so that all of the people watching will go away. Then She wont be able to max out on health.that will keep her health at about 90. When peach gives you full health then you can do awesome again. You will need some ultra shrooms because when you are doing bad on purpose she will take a lot of damage from you.

Paper Mario 64 reference

After you beat the game, if you go to Poshley Heights you will find a boo named Bow. Bow was one of Mario's partners in Paper Mario 64, and she will be alongside her butler, Bootler.

Shop in the Great Tree

To get a secret shop in the Great Tree area, go to the place with all the bushes and have Flurrie blow on the left wall. It should flap in the wind, and then eventually blow off, revealing a path. The path should lead to a shop, with great items and a heart block.

Solution to Petuni's Question

Select the next words in order: Mario - Likes - Wich Person - The Most?

After that, Petuni will give you an Mystic Egg = Replenishes 5 HP

Note: This will only happen after defeating the boss in Chapter 2.

Star Pieces Lots of Coins

Find some star pieces then trade them to the badge selling guy in the rougeport sewers. Get badges you don't want,or need. Sell them at the badge shop, and they will give you a massive amount of coins for the badges you traded in with star pieces. Volla!I went in with 5 coins and came out 423 coins richer.

Style

Directly after a hammer attack, or at the highest point after a jump attack, tap A again and Mario will do a stylish trick earning him more star points. This works for his allies as well. Tap A directly after doing Koops shell throw and he will spin on his back earning more style.

Super Mario World music

When you get an important e-mail (ie; the e-mails from Princess Peach), wait a couple of seconds and you will hear music from Super Mario World.

Super Mario World references

1. When you get an E-mail from Peach, the tune it plays is one of the level's themes.
2. When there are alot of Dry Bones in the Palace of shadows, they all are the color from Super Mario World.
3. After you finish a battle, it does the theme of after you beat a level on Super Mario World. (You'll hear it better if your current partner is dead after the end of the match.)

The Ghost's Name

When your on your way to Twilit Town to get your 4th star you will have to fight a ghost that when you tattle on him it says he has no name in creepy steeply. While your fight him he will transform into you and when you beat him he takes your identity. Then on your to Twilit town he will appear and you have to guess his name and when you get it wrong he will fight you but neither of your or his attacks will work you will have to run away and go to town and go talk to Vivian. once she joins your team go to creepy steeply and down the wail once in go to the bared door and push it up then go into the shadows and go through th door and get the treasure chest get the P go to the impostor Mario and when you guess his name say Doopliss. Then go back to his castle and you will have to fight him and your partners.

P.S. Vivian will leave your party for a while but will come back

P.S.S Focus on Doopliss

The most awesome recipe

First you have to give Zess T. the cook book. That means that she can cook 2 things together. Then cook a Point Swap + Mystery and you will get a random item it could also be a recipe wich will be recorded in your recipies file in your journal. But of course you know this but the random item can not be a badge. But one terrible thing is that the random item can also be a mistake. P.S. I got like 10 life shrooms doing this.

The REAL real way to color your yoshi

Ok, despite multiple wrong descriptions of how to colour your yoshi, which include naming your file after a colour, the colour of the file itself, or complete randomness, there actually is a real and definite way to colour your yoshi. There are seven different colours of yoshis: green, red, blue, orange, pink, black(ish) and white. The colour is determined by the time you leave it in the egg.

0-6 minutes: Green
6-9: Red
9-11: Blue
11-15: Orange
15-18: Pink
18-19: Black(ish)
19-20: White (the rarest)

The REAL way to color your Yoshi

All you have to do is when you start a new game, pick the color save file you want. The Yoshi will be that color.

The Secret Behind the Title

The big ship you see there has pulleys and chains. Well, back in the old days during pirate time, Captains would keelhaul shipmates by tying them to pulleys and lowering them in the water. Thus, leading the pulleys to the other side of the ship, scraping the shipmates on the bottom of the ship. Many pirates died from lack of air and injuries back then.

The Underground City

After you gain the ability to turn sideways, go to the West side of Rogueport and turn sideways while standing on the flood drain in the middle of the town. You will fall through the crack and go into a secret underground city! You can buy Gold Bars in the shop, too.

The Up arrow

In one of the dungeons in Hook tail's castle, there is a crock in the wall. Use Bobbery to blow the wall up. Inside is a chest. The chest contains an Up Arrow. When you go back to Rougeport, the wizard guy that gives your partners better attacks is outside of his house. Talk to him and eventually he will go back in his house. Give him the Up Arrow and he will remember something and fly up to his attic. Then he will come back down with a red sphere-like object. (He says what it is but I don't remember) His blue diomand on his table absorbs it and he tells you that he can upgrade your partners another time if one of your partners have all ready upgraded.

Timing For Styles

To get help on landing those Stylish moves, get the badge called "Time Tutor" or "Timing Tutor" or something similar to that. With that badge equipped, when you are in battle, if there is an opportunity to add a little Style to your attacks and moves, a little "!" speech bubble will appear above your character at the moment you should press the A Button.

Tips on the 100 Trial

If you wish to go all the way to "100" you must be at a level higher then "30". You should consider raising badge points instead of Hp points because there will be very, very, powerful enemys. So have Badge points over "40" and get two defense badges, one power plus badge, power smash( I thinks thats what its called), Hp and Fp up bages to increase your max Hp and Fp.(at least two each). and a heart and flower finder badge, just until you get over level "60" or "70". SPIKE BAGDE ( VERY IMPORTANT ).

Your first time, you will have to see for your self how hard the enemys are. It took me "4" times to get there. Remember to get "3" ultra shrooms and Life Shrooms and alot of money to buy supplies from the seller from time to time.

At the end there will be Hooktail's oldest brother Bonetail! (100ed level. he will attack with a stomping attack and many kinds of breaths that do "8" damage each and do sleepiness, confusing, and a few others.

Tips: Rare items

When you get the mouse character you can make her sniff out coins, bages, items, and star pieces. If there is a item in the area, but you can't seem to find it, use the ground pound (A then A), look behind things that you can't see (like behind a bush). If that doesn't work then use your partners ability's around the area that is close to the item.

Trouble Centre luigi trouble

There may be another way to do this cheat, but I like the funny result this one gets. At some point in the game, there should be a trouble in the trouble centre saying 'I wanna meet Luigi!' Take on this trouble, and go to Poshley Heights as normal. Now, use your Luigi Emblem (this can be found in the Poshley Sanctum) and talk to the toad near the fountain. She will go all crazy, saying "Yay! Luigi came! Luigi came!" But then, the REAL Luigi will appear, saying 'Hi Bro. Say, why are you dressed like me?' The ending result is very humorous. Try it out!

Turn into NES Mario

Just like in the first Paper Mario, there is an easter egg to revert Mario from paper to 8-bit sprite. Only this time it works on your partners too! In the X-Naut Base in Chapter Seven. Find the room with the swinging grate on Sublevel 2. Stand under it and use your Ultra Jump to jump up into the air vent. Press R and slide through the grate on the far right. You'll land in the changing room where Peach disguised herself, inside one of the stalls. When you pull back the curtain, you and your partner will be a sprite. This change does not affect game play and will wear off when you leave the room.

Turtley Leaves = More money!

If you go to Petalburg, then find the Turtly Leave in the Mayor's front garden. When you have this go to Rougueport and ask Zess.T to cook it. When she has it will be Koopa Tea! Sell it at the shop in Rougueport and you will get a profit of 1 coin than when you just sold it before it was cooked. Also if you do this with mushrooms then you wil get shop points for nothing.

Underground theme

If you listen closely to the music in the Palace of Shadows, the music is a retro version of the Underground theme in Super Mario Bros.

Various Hints

You can skip atomic boo then come back for him later.

If you have zap tap on, enemies like fuzzies and swoopulas can't hurt you.

To get information that you need to pay for eg. how to get to don pianta, stories, old wonkey. You can save, then listen to them, then reset to keep your cash.

You can't have more than 999 coins.

Waluigi clothes

Equip both the Luigi Emblem and the Wario Emblem at the same time. Your clothes will be exactly like Waluigi's.

Wario clothes

To get Wario's clothes for Mario, go to the central area of Rougeport with 360 Coins. There should be a merchant with a large mustache. He sells something called a Wario Emblem from time to time. It is a badge that requires no badge points to wear.

Whack a Mole

In chapter 5 on Keelhaul Key, walk to the northwest of the camp. Talk to the mole and hit him with your hammer he will leave behind a bump, get the bump. You can leave the area and go back there again to repeat this. You can sell the bump at the store for 50 bucks.

Yoshie color

Naming your person a color does not always change yoshies colorit is a pattern. eack time after you get an egg save then hatch it if you dont like it restart then continue repeat until happy.

Yoshi's color

When naming a game, use a color for your name and Yoshi will be that color.

Yoshi's Color and ol' wonky

Ol'Wonky is a old man that may tell you something that may help you.If you talk to him he will tell you something for 5 coins.(Ol'Wonky is in rougeport sewers in the building net to the shop.)He will tell you the subject of the thing he's going to tell you before you pay.One of the subjects is "Yoshi's Colors".In some part of the story he tells you "a yoshis color depends on the condition of the egg before its hatched.

PS.If he tells you that story meanwhile you have your yoshi out he will say theat your yoshi has a prety nice color.

Zess T.'s Cooking

After you replace Zess T's contact lens after chapter 1, you can have her cook useful dishes for you. At first she can only cook with 1 item, but once you give her the Cookbook after chapter 4 she can use 2 and increase her cooking repertoire. In the following guide, () indicates ingredients Zess T can only use after getting the Cookbook, and items marked with <> indicate dishes with only a 50% chance of succeeding. Failing with one of these dishes gives you a Dizzy Dial or Peachy Peach. Attempting to mix 2 incompatible ingredients gives
you a Mistake.

Zess. T

If you attempt to go to the West side of Rogueport for the first time, a woman will stop you and say, "Don't move! I lost my contacts." Move and it will say "Squinch!" below Mario;s foot. Then the toad will say that she is blocking the west side of town until you get her another contact lens. To get the lens, talk to the shopkeeper and he will say it will take a while to get them. Wait outside the building and don't touch anything until Mario falls asleep. Then, go into the shop and you will see a lens selling for 10 coins. Give it to Zess T. and you will not only be able to get meals from Zess T, but you will also be able to go to the West side of Rogueport.
