When the beetle pauses to suck air through a hole above its mouth, throw a Pikmin into a the stream of air. It will get stuck blocking the hole and stopping the beetle from breathing. The beetle will then sneeze out the Pikmin exposing it vulnerable orange body, which should be violently attacked.
