The Throw that Link and young link use can also be used for saving your life on the game.You'll need to master it before it becomes any use though, when you are playing in a fight and you get thrown off use the throw button or Z. The chain that they use will connect to the edge if timed right and you'll be safe from dying and they can't hit you really until you get up and thats why it can be better use then using b+UP.
