Mario is a comparitively small, short character right? WRONG! Go to Melee, Special Melee, Giant Melee. Choose Mario as your character. Then go to item switch and turn all items off except for The Super Mushroom. Then set to very high up the top. Choose any level you like (Corneria works good). When a Super Mushroom appears, get it. Then use Mario's Taunt. Mario will be MASSIVE!! P.S The opposite of this applies as well - the best character to use for this is Pichu. Do a Tiny Melee, and turn all items off excluding poison mushrooms and, if you want, bunny hoods. Both these methods allow fo great custom matches as well...
