Get the following flutes after walking in the ashes a lot east of Fallabour City.

They help:

Blue Flute (250 steps):Awakens Pokemon asleep.
Yellow Flute (500 steps):Snaps Pokemon out of confusion.
Red Flute (500 steps): Snaps Pokemon out of attraction.

You won't need these but I'll tell you about them:

White Flute (1000 steps): Lures wild Pokemon
Black Flute (1000 steps): Wards off wild Pokemon.
