Hint: Easy way to beat the first boss
To defeat the first boss use the super jump power up to jump over him when he does his spin attack. Do not let him corner you!

Okay, here's how the cheat works. At the end of level 1-3, when you are at the ledge near the goal, fall down the hole again, and stay near the right wall. Then, there will be another goal, near Carmen (the secret ally)
