Movement
When you shoot, you will get slightly smaller and move faster. Use this to escape by shooting forward a few times, then move in the same direction and absorb the blobs that you shot. This will result in a small speed boost when you are small and can help you evade attackers. After getting big enough, remain near the corners or edges to rush into blobs that are stuck there.
Size
You will begin as a small but very fast blob. You will be vulnerable to getting eaten by other blobs during this time. Get the dots and increase your size as soon as possible. While you are a small blob, you can behind viruses, which appear as green blobs with blade-like edges. Do this to escape larger blobs and get to areas where they cannot reach.
Splitting
After getting large enough, split. This will increase the space you occupy and give you a better chance to absorb other blobs. Before doing this, make sure that you are large enough to avoid getting eaten by larger nearby blobs. Splitting can also be done to eat blobs that you cannot reach otherwise. Aim in the correct direction before splitting. When in a difficult situation with no easy way out, split towards an open space to try to get out. Try not to split in too many pieces because it will be difficult to control your blob.
Viruses
Use the viruses to destroy other blobs or make them smaller. Do this by shooting towards the virus. It will shoot in the same direction you are shooting from. Those shots from the virus will cause damage, and any blob that it touches will split.
