Since it is a TellTale game, your choices influence how the game develops. For that reason, it is a good idea to save your progress in multiple slots, in case you want to try out other alternatives later.

If you miss out any on-screen prompts, the game will choose for you randomly. So, if you want to make your own choices, be sure to hit the buttons on time.

Since the game does most of the work itself, you can't really lose except at certain points in the game.

On the bottom left of the screen, you will see The Batman Gauge, which fills up the more enemies you kill, allowing you to execute a more powerful attack dubbed the Finishing Blow.

The gauge is at its maximum when it turns completely red.
