You can earn bonus points at the end of a level, depending on how fast it was finished. The score multiplier starts at 1.0. Each time the ball hits a brickie, the multiplier will increase by 0.1, to a maximum of 2.0. However when a bounce is missed, the ball will turn red and your multiplier will drop down to 1.0 again. Note that when the ball is red, it cannot break brickies or collect power ups.
