Try to shoot the mushrooms that clog up your movement area, doing this will allow you to move around and evade incoming insects. It will also give you a better position for shooting at centipedes.

During the game remember not to take your thumb off the screen as this will automatically reset your shooter to the center of the screen and can lead to an unintended death.
