One of the best things which will help you clear out the stages faster than anything else is to create tons of combos in the game and use them to help you reach that level's objective much, much easier!

The special tiles will be created when matching more than three blocks, and depending on how you match them (the direction in which you match them) or how many tiles you match, you will receive different boosts. But if you've played match 3 games before, you are probably very familiar with this already - if not, here's how you create the special tiles:

Glacial Butterfly: you get this boost when matching together four tiles in a square shape. It will take off and destroy a block that you need upon level completion.

Glacial Rocket: you get this boost when matching together four tiles in a line, and once you activate it, it will destroy the blocks in the same line that it is pointing towards (which can be vertical or horizontal).

Ice Bomb: you will get this boost when matching together five-six pieces together in a T shape or L shape, and once you activate it, it will create an explosion in the radius around it.

Multi Colored Snowflake: you get this boost by making a 5 tiles in a row combo. Once you match it with any other tiles on the board, it will turn the other pieces of the same color on the table to the color of that one piece you matched it with.

You should always be on the lookout to create more of these, because they will not be super hard to create and if you pay attention to the pieces that you are forming and how they align with the rest, you will make tons of special tiles to help you pass the levels easier.
