It pays to miss big. If you aim too close to the body, you'll wind up hitting it and costing yourself time (and points). Also, beware of the bodies as they fall limply off of the platforms. They can, and will, block subsequent arrows.

You don't have to slide your finger over the bow to draw back the arrow. You can slide your finger anywhere on the screen to draw and aim.

If possible, try to rescue a row of hanging men in a single shot. The bonus to your score will be well worth the effort.
