Each song on has nine performance achievements that can be earned for each of its difficulty settings. There are three types of achievements; score, combo, and complete. Each type has a bronze, silver, and gold reward associated with it. For example, getting a high score will earn the gold reward in the score category. You will be rewarded stage ups for your performers, story tokens, and booster cards.
Glee coins
After completing a song five times, you will be given five Glee coins, the game's premium currency. This can be done for one song across all four difficulty settings to increase the amount of Glee coins by five. Finish the complete achievement on the same song under all four difficulty settings to get a total fifty Glee coins. Complete the goals that are displayed on the main menu to earn Glee coins to get rare performers. Save 500 Glee coins to spend on a super pack. It will give you ten rare or better performers and a Hall Pass. Ten Hall Passes are required to purchase the guaranteed superstar pack, which gives you a super rare or better performer.
Scoring
The color of the song box reveals what type of song it is (pink hearts, blue drops, red fires, etc.). If you use a performer that is a matching type, you will earn bonus points. Before perform a song, the game will automatically match the best performers for it.
Story cards
You can earn a maximum of three stars on each song. The points meter at the top will show how close you are to earning each star. For every star awarded, you will get a story card, which can result in more story tokens, booster cards, and other bonuses.
