Tip 1: Level up constantly - keeping your squad at the peak of their capabilities will make your job a lot easier.

Tip 2: Blitz through the campaign before looking into other modes - you get a bunch of free stuff for completing missions, which will help once you start exploring elsewhere.

Tip 3: Let the AI handle any healer characters, as it has a much better handle on the situation in a chaotic gunfight than you will.
