Enemies
Try to avoid difficult enemies. Some enemies cannot be stoped, however others can be destroyed. The shield enemy runs towards you, even if you go up or down after the exclamation mark that announces his presence appears. What the exclamation mark appears, enter an area where you will be able to quickly move away from. However if you have a power-up it should make you immune to his attack.
Power-ups
There are two types of power-ups that can be bought. The first type is the set of three that can be obtained at the start that only remains with you for that particular run. The second type are upgrade power-ups that are collected during a run. Concentrate on improving the ones you can collect during your run first. They will be more useful overall. Other than that, the Score Blaster is a particularly useful starting power-up. When upgrading the in-game power-ups, consider using the order Bloodlust, Ultra Boost, Coin Magnet, Multiplier and Endless Ammo.
Weapons
Find a balance between unlocking new weapons and upgrading your current weapons. Upgrading weapons becomes more important if you have the more advanced ones. When advanced weapons are upgraded, they will get different boosts in their performance. Consider purchasing a weapon or an upgrade first, then get a power-up purchase.
