Combos
For each hit landed on an enemy, your combo multiplier will increase by one. If there are no visible enemies when you finish one off, run around until another one appears. You have a few seconds before the combo meter resets.
Skull spiders
After skull spiders spawn, they will get as close as possible to you. Once close enough, they will start to charge a mini-blast that will surround them. Do not attack them in this state, or you will be hit by that blast, and reset your combo. When a skull spider is charging, aim for another one. If there is only one remaining, wait a short time for the attack to end, then strike. Note: During later levels skull spiders will get upgraded attacks. The charge attack will be the same, however they will have spiked armor which lingers a short time afterwards.
Special moves
You will obtain various special moves as you progress.
Area attack
Charged by attacking, and is released by tapping the bottom right button. Your Bionicle will execute a large area of effect attack that does a large amount of damage. As you progress, you will unlock stronger versions of it, which requires a longer charge time.
Golden Mask
The meter below your score count fills when you attack. When full, you get a temporary golden mask. Your movement and attack speeds will increase during this time.
Summon
Executed by tapping the bottom left button. This brings in a summon that stuns all nearby enemies. It is best used when there are a lot of enemies around you that are charging a counter attack. It will also break the spike shield that the skull spiders can summon.
