Puzzles
Each puzzle features combinations of objects that must be used to reach the exit. Ladders: After placing a ladder, you do not have to wait to for your character to get to the top or bottom before moving another object. Ladders will expand to the tallest block in front of it, as long as that block can be moved upon. A ladder can bridge an immovable or non-traversable block, allowing you to bypass obstacles. Crates and boxes: Crates and boxes can be moved around on a grid without touching other elements. Start by testing a crate to check how high you can move it. At times you can place it higher than the existing structure. Crates can be moved up, down, forward and back, but cannot move around a corner. Look for the "L"-shaped blocks in order pass gaps. Cracked Blocks: You can only cross a cracked block once before it breaks. Place cracked blocks between intact blocks in order to get the most distance and give yourself a safe place to stop. Do not to place a cracked block directly next to an exit or you will fall through before you can leave. Elevators and buttons: When both Tamino and Papageno can be played, sets of buttons and elevators that each can trigger will appear. Move between characters quickly to trigger and utilize elevators, while making sure neither becomes stranded without a way to ascend or descend. You cannot operate an elevator if the other character is standing on a button already. You must move them away before switching characters. If an elevator is moves past the block you need it to reach, move a crate above the lift to stop it at the desired height. You can then move the crate out of the way.
