Wait to strike the ball when defenders are running. They move in defined patterns and may eventually leave a gap for you to score. If they do not make space, use the Magnet power up on a defender. Also, use aftertouch on the ball to maneuver it around defenders and fool the goalkeeper. This is more effective when done with head shots.
