The game starts with the tutorial. As you level up, you will get five bonus points to spend. Spend these points on Energy only. As you complete quests, you will get Attack and Defense bonuses. Save your money, gems and points. The more Energy you have, the more quests you can do. Each time you level, you will gain two bonus gems. Here is a code for twenty additional gems: G2V8Q3. Hiring crew or mercenaries cost twenty gems each.
